Parenting is working under pressure

I'd like to take credit for the idea of creating this blog. Truth is it was a friend's suggestion.
I said I would sleep on it. Before falling asleep I thought about all the possible ways for me to use this blog as a way to show my appreciation for storytelling and share true funny facts about my job hunt. I got plenty of ideas.
Starting from the title "Back to working mom" and I ask myself: "when did I ever stop working?". Being a mom is a freaking hard job and you're not even paid for it.
Pressure
I remember one time a company called me for a first interview and after asking me some questions they said: "Sorry, I don't think you're fit for the position. I have the impression you cannot handle the pressure!" If I had received this comment in the same situation I am now, I would have replied: "I think you have no idea what pressure is, until you spend a day with my 4 years old son."
If I don't cringe or start screaming every time he has a melt down, bosses me around or keep asking me the same thing for 5 minutes non-stop, I think I can handle some pressure at work.
There. I said it. There's pressure and pressure anyway. Pressure is not always needed or working for that matter. Sometimes pressure especially when it's coming from outside, can distract you and cause you to lose focus. A person with inner focus and determination would give their best no matter the circumstances.
